DAYTIME EVENTS: Lots of Fun Activity from morning until late afternoon

Cycling Activity

Come along and enjoy a social cycle along the banks of the Forth and Clyde Canal. Using bikes supplied by the East Dunbartonshire Bike Library, you and your family can try a short gentle cycle to the Stables and back under the watchful eyes of Sustrans' Ride Leaders.

A variety of bikes will be available from Mountain Bikes, to quality children's bikes as well as Dutch Style bikes complete with baskets! Helmets available too.

Rides will leave from the Marina at 10am, Noon and 2pm. First come first served.

Fishing Competition

11:00 – 16:00
Local company JB Angling are sponsoring a prize Course Angling Canal Match. On the day of the competition the shop will be open from 8.00a.m. – 8.30a.m. The competition will take place from 11.00a.m. to 4.00p.m. Results and prize giving also. Bookings should be made to JB Angling Centre, 37 Eastside, Kirkintilloch, Glasgow G66 1QA

Classically trained Scottish musician Shona Brown creates atmospheric soundscapes with flute, voice and electronics. She builds her original songs and instrumentals by layering haunting flute melodies, ethereal vocal harmonies and ambient electronic sounds.

Based in Glasgow, she is currently working on her 10in10 project, through which she will release 10 recordings in 10 months, on the 10th of every month. In the past, she has recorded with Mogwai and recently appeared live on BBC Radio Scotland and STV Glasgow.


Evening Concert


Their first set is an amazing recreation of The Jersey Boys stage show

With beautifully crafted vocal arrangements and slick choreography, the guys trace the history of one of the World's greatest ever vocal bands... including unforgettable versions of Rag Doll, Sherry, Walk Like A Man, Let's Hang On, Who Loves You, Big Girls Don't Cry and many more.

After a short break they return to the stage for a set of Boy Band classics, guaranteed to keep the party going into the night. Featuring some smash hits!

Fireworks Display

To finish off the evening, stay and be amazed by our spectacular fireworks display - not to be missed!
