Throughout Kirkintilloch Canal Festival TCP's international and Scottish expeditionaries will be leading a series of fascinating about the exploration, our incredible world, and how YOU can get involved. Local company JB Angling are sponsoring a prize Course Angling Canal Match. On the day of the competition the shop will be open from 8.00a.m. – 8.30a.m. The competition will take place from 11.00a.m. to 4.00p.m. Results and prize giving also. Bookings should be made to JB Angling Centre, 37 Eastside, Kirkintilloch, Glasgow G66 1QA

Auld Kirk Museum

Have your face painted and be transformed
into a scary tiger or a beautiful princess or
why not try dressing up as a Victorian.

Walk & Sketch (Open air)
Come and try your hand at drawing, inspired
by the surroundings.

We are delighted that Greg Friel has again this year agreed to write the music for our spectacular firework display!

Merkland Drive, Kirkintilloch

Opening time for the site is: 10am-3pm

Why not come along to the first Allotment site in East Dunbartonshire and have a look around, see what East Dunbartonshire Council’s Social Work and the local community have done in this very new site.


Auld Kirk Museum
Times: 10.30am, 12noon, 2pm and 3.30pm

Fun, exciting and safe animal-handling workshops. Meet snakes, giant millipedes, tree frogs and more and hear animal inspired tales of old! Spaces are limited, so first come, first served.
